Position Summary:

Advisor Partners is seeking an entrepreneurial sales professional to accelerate growth. The role reports to the President and will help manage all sales and marketing activities directed at independent Registered Investment Advisors (RIA), Family Offices and other sales channels. This is a “hands on” sales role.


  • Enhance the sales strategy for selling Advisor Partners’ strategies through the RIA and Family Office channels.
  • Meet and exceed annual targeted sales goals.
  • Source prospective clients within targeted markets. This includes using existing network of contacts, cold calling, and attending conferences.
  • Develop sales collateral, email campaigns, PR initiatives, and assist with other marketing aspects.
  • Maintaining current, accurate data in the CRM application.
  • Arrange meetings for interested prospective clients with portfolio managers and senior members of the firm.
  • Work with the Investment team to expand Advisor Partners’ investment solutions based on market demands.
  • Meet weekly with senior member(s) of the firm to provide status updates on new prospects.


  • Strong desire and ability to identify prospects, generate a qualified pipeline, cultivate and manage sales opportunities, and close sales.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and building strong customer relationships in the RIA market
  • A strong client service orientation with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
  • Intelligent, motivated, competitive, strong communication skills, strong closing skills.
  • Marketing experience
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities
  • Employ creative approaches to succeed and problem-solve.
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Ability to travel extensively.

Operations Analyst 

The Opportunity:

Advisor Partners is seeking an enthusiastic, articulate, and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our team.  This role will be a hybrid between daily maintenance of the back-office systems and development.  The perfect candidate will be able to apply creative thinking, technological savvy, and problem-solving abilities while working in conjunction with the Investment Management.  The perfect candidate will also be able to assist in coding of solutions to automate the back office as well as participate in testing of any solutions implemented.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the daily maintenance of Portfolio/Order Management, monitoring daily Automation Files, including both standard and nonstandard custodial and vendor feeds.
  • Act as the internal liaison between outsourced data provider and Advisor Partners
  • Assist with daily trading for both domestic and international securities
  • Ability to independently research and analyze data and report questions, variances, and anomalies from both internal investment team and external clients
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc reporting process ensuring maintenance of batch reporting jobs, detailed checklist and ensuring monthly/quarterly report packets are delivered
  • Assist ensuring the accuracy of monthly calculations of both pre-tax and after-tax time-weighted return calculations
  • Help develop, implement and maintain custom solutions that allow for the business to be scalable, automated and efficient.

What You’ll Need

  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or similar field of study; relevant experience or interests considered
  • Minimum two years of investment operations experience required
  • Knowledge of equities, options, mutual funds, spot and currency transactions
  • Experience with a portfolio accounting and trading system (Advent and/or ClearWater knowledge a bonus)
  • Experience with integration to third party systems required
  • Experience with building, testing and maintaining in-house custom solutions
  • MSSQL, SQL, SSRS, XML, Python (or equivalent) technical knowledge a must, any other coding language knowledge welcomed.
